A beautifully toned diobol from Ainos

THRACE. Ainos. Circa 408/7-407/6 BC. Diobol (Silver, 13 mm, 1.27 g, 6 h). Head of Hermes to right, wearing petasos. Rev. AINI Goat standing right, right foreleg raised; to lower right, crab; all within shallow incuse square. HGC 3.2, 1277. May, Ainos, 303-5. SNG Copenhagen 400. Beautifully toned and sharply struck. Struck on a slightly short flan and with minor edge cracks, otherwise, extremely fine.
